I can only say, I have never seen a pc that never crashes.
From my experience there's a difference in crashes and freezes.
When something in my DAW is overcooking, in Linux, it directly shuts down (crash?).
You know what happened and restart, problem solved.
When the same happens in Windows, your screen freezes and you don't know for how long, mostly task manager doesn't seem to be able to shut the program down... and you have to wait, or sometimes reboot to get it fixed.
I prefer Linux in this case, and it seldom happens to be honest.
