I have the feeling, that almost every topic is about running proprietary software, or software for windows, or mac.
Not sure why you have that feeling. Of 16 new posts today, only 2 are about non-Linux software. Sure there are always a few topics about Win/Mac software but that's because those softwares cause much more trouble trying to run on Linux. Some hardware has config utilities that don't run on Linux too.
Many of us run (almost) exclusively Linux software and don't encounter such problems. hence don't need to post support questions.
The forum is called LINUXMusicians. That makes it quite clear what it's prime purpose is.
