so what I did now is:

installed Ardour
yay -S ardour
installed qpwgraph
sudo pacman -S qpwgraph
setting usergroups:
sudo usermod -a -G audio $USER
sudo usermod -a -G realtime $USER
realtime group doesn't exist
created the group: sudo groupadd realtime (then ran usermod again)
edited this file: /etc/security/limits.conf
added this to the bottom before the end:

  @audio   -  rtprio     95  @audio   -  memlock    unlimited

logged out and in again

the error messages i got from guitarix are now gone

I am now looking at the ardour thing. man this is very complicated. I wish there was just some settings for noobs that just works. I have trouble understanding all the meanings of these things.

I am looking at that window now: "Audio connection manager"
does it make sense to just set the green light everywhere? Or do I need to figure out the right combination? Also my scarlett isn't showing up
