Hi @pdechery and many thanks for your feedback. I know that Csound is a hard way to go about it, but if you have very specific or funny idea, it's a good tool that let's you dig in REALLY deep, especially if you can't see.
This brings me to your second remark... The "blue screen" is easy. If you know a tool to take a text file or even an HTML file and render it as images or perhaps even as a full video - either just image or in combination with audio as a complete product, then I'd be happy to take that into account. I would be looking for something on the commandline. Hm, thinking about it, I wonder if ffmpeg can do it directly. It has so many options and superpowers. I have a few images that I made myself, using povray, which is amazing, but like Csound challenging to step into. Though again, quite powerful.
I have sometimes thought about a simpler audio-visualisation thing, but haven't found a good tool for that either... Any suggestions are welcome!
