There is also Bespokesynth and puredata (and the various versions of it), and sunvox.
I wonder, after all these important information, if it is possible to tell which is the most interesting synth between all these (Cardinal, VCV Rack, Bespokesynth, Puredata, Sunvox and perhaps others).
The only one I know is Surge XT and I work actually with Ardour, I am making music from a short time and have now my firsts results.
I wish to use synth and soundfonts.
So, can I have please an advice? Which synth would be the best to invest my time? The purposes are the as wide as possible range of makable sounds and their quality (I like a lot of sound details, by example).
I see that some of these synths are dow too. Only if possible, I wish to keep Ardour, especially if the usage of soundfonts are not possible in the other dow.
