Plugins, Effects and Instruments • carla - starting gui with carla already running

Hi,

I use carla to install some fluidsynth units playing soundfonts. Normally I don't have to edit anything in this setup, so I auto start carla on bootup using

carla - n [file.carxp]

and carla starts silently without the gui. The question is: can I start the gui in this situation to edit the running carla with the fluidsynth units? If I open carla it just shows me an empty rack, not the one actually running.

edit: if I start the carla-gui (carla) it actually starts the gui belonging to the aleady runnimg carla process. But it shows the rack empty, so I cannot edit anything.
