I'm trying to use Qtractor for those projects on which Ardour exceeds what I need and I'm wondering if there's anybody using Qtractor for overdubbing. After more than 3 years without using Qtractor I decided to give it a new chance and I found the latency compensation is still wrong no matter the defined buffering size. It always over compensate by moving back the recorded clips for an extra period. Is there something I can do with the JACK configuration for solving it, I started an issue in GitHub but after almost 5 years the latency compensation is still a work in progress. It's clearly not a priority to solve it. I'm looking for a work around which allows to properly compensate the latency without having to manually move each recorded clip. I can also use Muse but I like the Qtractor layout better.
I'll appreciate your comments and help.
