Hi Everyone,
I've been playing around with an Akai EWI USB (https://www.akaipro.com/ewi-usb) on Linux. It works great as a midi controller, but I'm having trouble finding sounds that work well with the breath control, and would sound good enough for a performance setting.
I have no sound design skills, but have been using Vital, and purchased Stef Haynes' Electrowinds presets (which are good, but not really what I'm looking for). Ideally, I'd like to find a native Linux synth or sampler plugin that responds realistically to the breath control and that has a bunch of interesting lead sounds. Free is great, but I don't mind spending either
I know this is probably an uncommon request, but wanted to see if anyone out there would be willing to offer some recommendations.
