@Gerbil: You deserve a big like from me both for Your music and for the recording.
Meanwhile i was also successful, at least regarding the circumstances (someone had modified our adjustments we made during the soundcheck, so the public sound was unaccepable to me and even the recorded tracks had some clipping although i gave them a lot of headroom and had tested that).
Anyway my workflow has been:
Mix down the whole recording with ardour into flac, split this afterwards into on sound clip for any piece with audacity. And then use openshot to combine the new sound snippets with the existing video clips.
