Thanks for having a listen! My Grandma gave me her old square grand piano when I was a mere yute, and it was so badly out-of-tune, that it had a delightfully oriental sound, especially since I started out on the black keys that poke up at me Shout out to Graham Nash
So subconciously,
I may gravitate toward such voicings.
My USA city is being propped up by the many Asians (and eastern Europeans) who move here, bringing a great work ethic. Even the huge Walmart that closed due to shoplifting and other crime, has now become a super sized Asian Market, aisle after aisle of produce and sundries I couldn't name, but will investigate, as it's now the closest store to home. Got a nice watermelon last time.
Back on topic somewhat, I do have a quasi-oriental themed song, which I do like a lot, I believe I used SampleTank and an effect or two...
but it may have been a pair of Kontact libs 'The Smile Farther East'

I made a fallback system using a dvd booted Studio 1337 V3.3 and a save-folder, that includes Yoshimi and Hydrogen, made a default sound for practice, layering Yoshimi sounds, a DX7 ep, a taste of organ-pad for filler and tail, and enough of a choir sound to be noticed. I made a gamelan kit for Hydrogen, that makes beats somewhat oriental sounding, when one's imagination is on the loose
Cheers
