My new Darter Pro came in yesterday and there are no visual glitches on the screen. Huzzah! I'm in the process of moving files over to the new laptop, and once that's done I'll start getting studio software installed and tuned.
There is one annoying glitch, however. I can mount my AV Linux MX Edition live USB and access the files on it, but the BIOS refuses to acknowledge its presence when I try to boot from it. I've contacted System76 support about it, and hopefully they can help me resolve the error. At least I've got my beloved KDE on it and can use a DE that I'm familiar with. I may check out S76's Cosmic DE when it drops, but I'm pretty happy with being able to run KDE.
